My family and I were doing a weekend trip to Pemberton from Perth. This was in the last leg of our trip to Australia in 2016 when we had done a camping cum road trip around the Australian Outback. This also gave me a chance to see the birds around Pemberton.
I spent most of the day birding around Big Brook Dam, Gloucester Tree and Diamond Tree Lookout in Pemberton and some time in Lake Muir State Forest. In this post I am including of the birds that I was able to photograph.

That’s a Banded Lapwing not a Masked.

In my bird checklist I had it tagged as Banded Lapwing. I must have inadvertently labelled in wrong in the blog post. Thank you for pointing it out.
