My family and I were on the last leg of our trip to Australia. It was now time to explore Perth. For me that also meant a chance to see the birds around Perth.

We did a day long trip around Perth looking for birds. The areas that I ended visiting were Lesmurdie Falls, Lake Monger Reserve, Herdsman Lake, Bibra Lake and Warrungup Spring Reserve. It had been a rainy day and I was a bit worried on sightings. But it turned out well šŸ™‚ . There were several times that I had to stand in the rain to observe the birds and photograph them. But a birder can be a crazy person šŸ˜€ !
