Ever since I got interested in birdwatching, I would try and make an effort to see the local birds in any place that I visited. Well, Sydney was not different.
My family and I were back in Sydney after 9 years of moving back to Bangalore. This time we were over to join our friends on a camping cum road trip across the Australian Outback. You can read all about the adventure here. There were surprisingly (atleast to me) a lot of birds in the Outback, though the place was very arid. I have written post on that earlier. Do read it here.
Back to Sydney. I took the opportunity to go for short walks around our friends’ place. We also went to Circular Quay (area where Sydney Opera House is located) to rekindle memories for our kids. In these times, I made it a point to carry my binoculars and my camera. In this post I am going to show some of the birds that I was able to photograph in these outings.
